Si Songkhram Wittaya (2016)

Si Songkhram Wittaya is a very large high school/gymnasium with over 3’000 students. The foundation financed the renovation of the school’s science laboratory that had suffered from water damage and was no longer useable due to mould. It also provided new laboratory equipment so that the students may henceforth conduct experiments and enjoy the facilities of a well-equipped science laboratory. The foundation also financed the purchase of 50 new PCs so that the school must no longer rent its IT equipment. The rationale for supporting the purchase of so many computers was that the school was already offering a broad range of IT classes, ranging from web design to computer programming lessons to its students. Considering that many students at this school are from poor families, the school requested and the foundation granted financial assistance to two hundred students for the purchase of school clothes, stationary and the like.
